Call for Paper: International Journal of Sustainable Real Estate and Construction Economics

We invite you to submit your research to  International Journal of Sustainable Real Estate and Construction Economics

IJSRECE proposes and fosters discussion on sustainable real estate and economics, emphasising the application of various economic theories. It acknowledges the complexity of the concept of sustainability as an interface between economics, society and the environment and offers a platform on which both academics and practitioners will find research of interest. Although there are journals which publish for sustainable real estate and construction, this is the first of its kind to focus on the issue from an economics perspective.

We welcome original theoretical, empirical, and methodological research. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:

  • Application of economic theories for the sustainable built environment

  • Sustainable waste management

  • Green building finance, water management, civil engineering and hydrology

  • Artificial intelligence and sustainable building

  • Motivation and barriers in sustainable construction

  • Policies, regulations and green building

  • Sustainable real estate education and training

  • Construction safety and health

  • Application of ICT to achieve sustainable building cycles
